01 / THE BEGINNING
FROM GALLERY EXPERIENCE TO ELKE & BOSE
Elke & Bose grew from Lalit Suri’s long relationship with art. In 2006, he entered the gallery world as director of the Delhi chapter of a New York gallery. Though he later changed direction, he never left behind artists, exhibitions, or the conversations they began. Years later, building a collection with a close friend brought him back into studios and galleries—especially Garhi—where they encountered remarkable artists whose work needed stronger visibility and wider platforms. Elke & Bose emerged from that shared conviction.
